This could have fallen straight off one of their classic 80s albums, and while it wouldn’t have been a standout, it carries all that is endearing and lovely about the PSBs. It manages to sound simultaneously nostalgic and forward-thinking. But then it was ever thus with the Pet Shop Boys. Quality popular music, still.
