Ellie Goulding – Starry Eyed (new version)

In brief: Fairly obviously, Ellie Goulding needs no introduction. Nor does this skittery, twitchy gem of a record that first showed up almost a year ago. However, it now has a shiny video and an even shinier remix. A sensible reissue that should do a decent enough job of convincing the gen pub that Goulding is worth bothering with.

Ellie Goulding – Under The Sheets


So this is actually pretty different to Starry Eyed, isn’t it? Not totally sure what to make of it, if I’m honest. Much more obviously marketable traditional pop music, but lacking some of the wide-eyed charm of the debut single. Still pretty good though, yeah?
